Abstract


21 century is a changeable age. The great development of the science, technology and economy made the society change a lot in every aspect, besides the education.while various changes, it also brought a great many of changes and challenges. To face such transform, both the needs of talents and the needs of education are biggest, which made the scale of education grow continuously. But the enlargement of the educational scale has both positive and negative sides, such as the decline of the quality. Without affecting the scale, to ensure the quality becomes one of the most urgent issues that people should solve immediately. Thus, as the toppest educational stage, to guarantee the quality of graduate education is meaningful, so a valid quality evaluation system is a indispensable factor in promoting the development of graduate eduabation.The system of graduate quality evaluation is complicated which includes many sectors, if we want to know more about the functions of each segement and the relationship between each other, we must define the subject first, for the effective subject can make the assessment execute its abilities of diagnosis, guidance, impellent and improvement in advance and fully. So the paper will study the subject system of graduate quality evaluation on the basis of the role, and try to find out how to construct such a perfect system. The paper has five parts:first, to make sure the issue is feasible; second, to recall the process of the development, then find the problems in the development and the causes; third, study the common tendency of the subject system in western countries, the role of each body and the relation between each other;fourth, on the basis of former parts, to find a practicable way to bulid a harmonious and efficacious subject system which is consist of the government, the society and the colleges with the reasonable princeples; fifth, to state that the graducates would be one of the subjects in the future.hoping after the discussion, it would enrich our graducate quality evalucation system.
