Abstract


Distance education is one of the earliest areas of application of the Internet. With Internet technology, more and more people into the network to come up the learning process, developed a number of complete and practical distance learning system, learning resources on the network more and more.Use of sophisticated Web technology, various educational institutions can build their own Intranet system, agencies in a variety of teaching resources and information placed on Web databases and servers, easy "teachers"and"student " exchange. Through the browser, "students" can be Courseware, remote simulation experiments, to submit assignments and examinations; "teachers"can Q & A, correcting homework and understand the test situation.This thesis introduces the basic concepts of distance education, the purpose of meaning, related technologies and applications, and analysis of the current distance learning systems and the characteristics of distance learning resources. Secondly, the introduction of the distance education system more demand, obtained through the distance education system needs analysis of the various subsystems and functions. Then this paper, the demand for distance education system detailed design of the system, using UML modeling mode on a detailed summary of the design. According to the schematic design of the next article describes the system design and implementation of database system.The latter part of the thesis is about the Distance Education System.
