Organic light emitting device (OLED) due to its active light-emitting , fast response , high brightness and excellent properties of all solid as a next-generation display technology . This stage , the active matrix organic light emitting display (AM-OLED) materials and manufacturing processes is not yet mature , there are still small screen size , color display inaccurate , driving difficulties and many other problems . Actively looking for new materials , improved manufacturing processes at the same time , another effective method is to make use of digital image processing to compensate for such defects . In this paper, a 7- inch AM- OLED in the study display characteristics and commonly used image processing algorithm based on the design of the image processing module based on field-programmable gate-level array (FPGA) , trying to solve the resolution does not match display color cast caused by the the OLED degradation and color film transmittance differences . For display panel physical resolution video data resolution does not match the problem , design a linear median filtering algorithm . The algorithm is applicable to the reduction ratio is less than 3 / 4 of the image scaling , bilinear interpolation algorithm image zoom effect while the cache can reduce about 40% of consumption . Difficult to use are few and narrow scope of application of the existing AM-OLED driver IC chip integrates gamma correction function . The the chosen digital gamma correction and white balance adjustment module can be easily and AM-OLED and liquid crystal display (LCD) driver chips combined drive AM-OLED display panel and solve the problem of the display color cast . In addition, the design of the AM-OLED simulation platform and simulation platform , a combination of both algorithm level and register transfer gate-level (RTL) verification to the image processing module , and also in the case of lack of display intuitive detection results . Functional simulation and FPGA verification , the image processing module functions correctly , can compensate to some extent for AM-OLED existing defects .
