Abstract


Since the beginning of the 21st century , the data showed a trend of explosive growth , in order to safely and effectively protect corporate and personal survival data , have been designed with a variety of data backup system , and successful commercial . However, with the emergence and widespread use of the growing number of networked embedded devices , the emergence of new application requirements : how to backup and restore data on the embedded storage devices . Existing data backup system , due to its high cost , large-scale and complicated operation is prohibitive Therefore, the for embedded storage equipment , design and development of a lightweight , platform-independent , fast network data backup the system is very necessary . Based on the excellent open-source file synchronization software Rsync analysis , design and realization of a of lightweight fast network backup system , the system 's core algorithm FLNB (Fast Lightweight Network Backup System) algorithm using a number of techniques to improve backup and recovery efficiency : three duplicate data delete duplicate data filtering technology at the file level , block level and byte-level centralized data files , reducing the need to transfer the amount of data , saving network bandwidth ; timestamps for each technology by times differential backup file is placed in an orderly manner to provide to accurately restore point in time ; differential backup technology only backup modified data , greatly improving storage efficiency . The experiments show that FLNB algorithm can well meet the demand for embedded memory system backup , reducing the amount of data transferred , and to improve the efficiency of backup and recovery . The system provides a Web interface make operation easier , and greatly facilitate the users to use the system in a variety of functions , and system management .
