Abstract


As the development and improvement of microelectronics technology, sensor technology and embedded system, the micromation and low-power sensor’s cost decreases dramatically, meanwhile, capacity raises significantly. Thus, the rapid development of wireless sensor network is promoted. The wireless sensor network is mainly applied into areas such as military battlefield, scientific research, business application, industry control and environment protection. It has multi-aspect application values and wide application prospects.The mobile-aware network is a wireless sensor network deployed to special fields. This network uses a wireless router to connect to multiple heterogeneous networks in a special field, and then inter-connects with a rear data center in time. Thus, The wireless sensor network’s routing protocol suitable for special fields and the wireless router supporting this protocol are the core technology of a mobile-aware network.This subject comes from the national high-technology field project named as“mobile computing system interface and integration technology”, and its purpose is to add the mobile-aware network’s routing protocol to a wireless router. Therefore, wireless sensor network’s routing protocols are researched firstly in this subject; and then the network architecture of embedded router operating system OpenWrt and the realizing way of network protocols are researched and analyzed. Finally, the wireless sensor network’s routing protocol HITSENET suitable for a battlefield environment is realized on the OpenWrt platform, and the HITSENET routing module is tested comprehensively. The test’s result shows that HITSENET realization accords with the design goal completely.The subject’s work adds a new network protocol in a wireless router’s operating system successively, adds a function to a router and provides a interface connecting to external networks for wireless sensor networks, which lays a solid foundation for wireless sensor networks’further application and research.
