Abstract


With the development and application of computer science and technology with internet, the management, teaching and research in higher educational institutions have been changed. A new type of documents named Electronic Documents can not only saves the storage, but also provides more convenients and efficiency, which will be a revolution of documents and data management. As a result, it very necessary to develop the system of electronic documents management.This system based on B/S framework, with database of SQL Server 2000 which is visited by ADO technology. Meanwhile, with the purpose of enhancing the security of the data of the system, it employs ATP TCP and ATP security strategy and takes secure measures in the field of web client, APP server, and client permissions, backup and restoring, web security, etc. There are several modulars of the system, which provides the sevices on electronic document information generating, automatic electronic document processing, automatic storage of electronic document, lending management, deleting of electronic document, data maintenance and client management. Nowadays, the database of system is shared by offices of university and becomes more and more important.At present, this system has already been operating online successfully in one university, which shows rationality, convenients and efficiency. It also promotes the process of electronic data management in university and becomes the very important part of office automation.
