Abstract

The non-scanning laser radar becomes more and more important in military for its characteristics of compact structure , high-resolution, hign-frame image. non-scanning laser radar conventionally uses the method of floodlighting. The light distribution on target is nonuniformity and energy availability factor is low. Aiming to increasing the utilizatoion efficiency , Our purpose is to desigh a illuminating system combing Dammann grating with Kepler telescope and to detect object by array illumination. Our task is research the performance of Dammann grating array illumination system.Firstly, the paper analyzes the princlple of beam splitting by Dammann grating. Base on inferring Dammann grating facula intensity distribution in far field, Completes the Dammann grating array illumination uniformity and analyzes the uniformity which is affected by different modes getting through Dammann grating. Second, design a Dammann grating array illumination sysem in terms of the voice of engineer. On these bases, the illumination performance is analyzed when Multi-faculae is incoherent or coherent addition, and the modulation is simulated. The simulation result indicated that the non-coherence addition intensity may become“the flat top”, but the coherence addition can’t do it and the controllability of coherence adddition intensity distribution is difficult. At last, set up non-scanning array illumination imaging laser radar experiment system. The experiment is on the indoor, 8m to 60m away, we acquire strength image. the experiment results show that array illumination is better than floodlighting. According experiment instrument parameter, we derive radar distance equation and caculate the farthest distance which is 520m.In summary, it is feasible that improving the performance of non-scanning imaging laser radar by using program of Dammann grating array illumination. Moreover, it is helpful to further applies in the composite illumination system which can expend array illumination angle of view.
