Abstract


The main idea of our online forum“Agriculture and Science 110”is providing experiences and professional service from farmers and experts. With the development of science and technology, nowadays people have the internet as a much more convenience access to different information.The subject of my paper focuses on how to provide farmers with information anytime and anywhere by establishing Agriculture and Science 110 on the website of Sichuan Scientific Association. Because of the forum, rural areas can get close to useful information, science and technology, and agricultural experts easily. Without one step outside, our farmers can still get what the latest related information they need. Additionally, they can communicate and share ideas with experts face to face on the internet, which is more convenient and efficient. The main contents of my paper are: Base on the requirement of the waterfall development model, I conducted my research on requirements analysis, system design, database design, system functions and functional testing.When discussing requirements, I firstly analyze feasibility about the system development, which is preparation for all following work. The second step is collecting suggestions from different users to learn what requirements and features our system needs. Finally, I give a detailed description about the environment in which the system develops and runs. When designing the system, I transfer function requirements to modules according to the results of requirements analysis. Meanwhile, I pay attention to the system security. As for the selection of database, I chose SQL Server 2003, and work on database structure and logical design. This paper adopts characteristics of the module, introduction, graph and codes to describe the system factions. Also, we have tested this system and it can run well without any error.Based on all these work, I made a conclusion about the subject and predicted the following tasks.
