Abstract


As growing of telecommunication network scale, the needs of network security, resource sharing and load balancing for mobile core network are getting urgent. The technology of MSC Pool has advantages in optimizing network resource, distributing traffic with reason, improving network performance, promising network security, increasing utility of investment, with those priorities, MSC Pool is becoming one of main tendencies in future telecommunication network development. This dissertation introduces the principle of MSC Pool and its implementation mechanism, analyses network solutions with MSC Pool. Also it gives a specific comparison in implementation of MSC Pool in 2G soft switch and 3G networks, further more, it introduces the project of Fujian Mobile MSC Pool network opening, validates the functions related to MSC Pool technology.This dissertation introduces the principle of MSC Pool and its reality mechanism, analyses network solutions with MSC Pool. Also it gives a specific comparison in implementation of MSC Pool in 2G soft switch and 3G network, also introduces the project of Fujian Mobile MSC Pool network opening, validates functions which related to MSC Pool.In the construction of Fujian Mobile network, my research mainly focuses on following aspects: 1. Invest exchanging core network MSC Pool from points of its development and utilization, explained the concepts, composition, functions and business application of MSC Pool network system. Also participate in trial projects at beginning of planning phase.2. Discuss Fujian mobile MSC Pool network solution and its structure. Complete adjustment of parameters in functionality testing related to MSC\MGW\BSC. Set up specific topic in parameter setting’s formalization research, as to assure the operability and maintainability after implementation.3. Research on theory of Fujian Mobile MSC Pool network’s realization, as well as Fujian Mobile MSC POOL trial network’s testing. Accomplish testing and function validation according to enterprise rule, enhance to analyze, make sure the business function testing is comprehensive and effective. Make full use of signaling instrument’s monitor, to test the content of project, summarize the achievement of expected results for trial projects.4. Finally, summarize the research achievements of this topic, raise future plan in this research.
