Abstract


Innovation is the foundation underlying all efforts to build the country, and it is the key factor for a country to keep international competitiveness. Innovation is the soul of the progress of a nation, and it is also the inevitable choice for an enterprise to gain the market advantage. Captial is the most important factor to affect scientific and technological innovation, so studying the relation between capital and innovation is very significant. For the reason, this paper is written to study the academic and empirical relation among financial development, bank loan, market financing, venture capital and scientific and technological innovation, and analyze the current situation, trouble and reasons of financial support to scientific and technological innovation.Firstly, this paper is summarized relevant literature of financial support to scientific and technological innovation from home and abroad, and points out that it is an useful supplement in the empirical study. Then, it is written to analyze the relation among financial structure, scientific and technological innovation and economic growth from academic aspect, the features of financing and innovation of innovation subject and the financing features of innovation in the different phases of the enterprise. Research shows that financial structure can improve economic growth by improving efficiency of scientific and technological innovation. At the same time, enterprise is the absolute subject of scientific and technological innovation, and scientific and technological innovation of specialized research institution is inefficient. Besides, innovative enterprise seeks financing routine of“venture capital→bank loan→GEM and small and medium-sized market→main board market”positively in the process of development.Next, this paper studies the relation between scientific and technological innovation and financial support detailedly. It analyzes not only the academic and empirical content of domestic financial development to scientific and technological innovation, but also bank loan, market financing and venture capital to scientific and technological innovation. It is discovered that the efficiency of financial support to scientific and technological innovation increases steadily before 2004, but enters into the downward trend later. The sensitivity of scientific and technological innovation for financial support in the eastern and middle areas is better evidently than western area. Nationwide, it is the positive conspicuously influence for bank loan to scientific and technological innovation, but it is unconspicuous for market financing. Subregionally, the influence of bank loan in the eastern area is weaker than middle and western areas, but market financing is the opposite. At present, the influence of venture capital to scientific and technological innovation is weaker than bank loan, but better than security market financing in our country.
