Abstract


From the end of twenty century,the global economy is becoming an unit..As an structure which can collocate the resource effectively in the world, the multinational corporation plays an important role in the economic globalization. How to manage the human resource effectively is vital to the multinational corporation operation. In 2006,China overtook the United States to become Japan’s largest trading partners. However, the Japanese multinational corporations’development in China is not easy. Because of the political, economic, legal, and cultural environment difference, the Japanese multinational corporations propose the Localization Strategy.In the strategy, the localization of human resource is the most important part.This article focuses on localization of the human resource in the transnational corporations, especially in the Japanese multinational corporations in China.This paper bases on the multinational operations theory、the international human resource management theory and the cross-cultural management theory.In special,this article analizes the differences of the human resource management between Japan and China in the view of the traditional culture differences.This article sets an example of X corporation to discuss strategy of the human resource localization in the Japanese multinational corporations in China.And from the operation course of X corporation,we include some experience in localization of the human resource management of Chinese corporations’internationalization process.The main experience are stated as follows:foster the qualified cross-cultural managers; employ the host country talents boldly through a variety of ways;enhance the importance of training;attract and retain the best local talent through salaries and career management incentives and create a unique corporate culture to attract the local personnel.The author hopes the strategy of human resource management localization in the Japanese multinational corporations can set an example for the Chinese interprist to make more profit in the more and more fierce competition for talents.
