Abstract


In the current economic transformation of Chinese socialist society, business ethics has become one of hot issues of concern. However, the ethics of private enterprises are relatively has not been concern. This paper, taking the Marxism as the guiding ideology, has basically discussed the ethical conduct of private enterprises on contemporary society. First, this article introduces the domestic and international business ethics-related research, and present key ideas according to the former research and inadequacies of the research. The thesis introduced the development of private enterprises in China, and interpret the relevant concepts and define followed by a more comprehensive analysis the development context and the specific content of business ethics, further analysis of the status quo and problem of private enterprise ethics in the current economic transformation. In response to these ethical problems of private enterprises, this article further analyzed objective reasons of the ethical issues of private enterprises from the system, values and internal factors; Third, this paper, based on the general characteristics and ethics questions of private enterprises under the economic transformation, analyzed the nature of the business from Marx’s nature of people; This article further introduced the value basis of business ethics construction from three angles of the Chinese traditional ethics, the values of socialism collectivism and harmonious society. On this basis, relying on the building theory and value basis, this article introduced thinking and direction to construct the ethical system of private enterprise from the internal construction and external conditions: Internal construction, mainly build private business ethics system from the "integrity" culture, "benefits and obligations both" business concept, "caring" management philosophy, "harmony between man and nature" of corporate social responsibility as well as the "harmony" enterprise ultimate goal; External conditions mainly strengthen the norms of the private enterprise ethics system from the legal system, consumers rights and the perspective of the media and government policies. At the end of the article, a preliminary summary are explored based on the above-mentioned. Only through this kind of ways is possible to successfully build relatively sophisticated and comprehensive ethical system of private enterprise in the current economic transformation.
