Abstract


With the development of international trade, the freight forwarder become flourishing. Air transport, especially air freight transport, became a symbol of modern economy. Importing and exporting need go through a serious of procedures. As a result, the consignor and the consignee ask air freight forwarder to finish the procedures. With the development of international trade, air freight forward gradually become an industry. Air freight forwarder links the entire value chain between air freight shippers and air airlines. At present, international air freight forwarding giants have assessed to our country, the market competition has hear up. Today, air freight forwarding become relatively mature industry, all sorts of risks can not be overlooked. In this paper, the research is about controlling the risks of air freight forwarder enterprise, based on the method of process reengineering. The paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1) The thesis describes the background, object, purpose and significance of the paper, summarizes and reviews the domestic and foreign research status of air freight, and freight forwarder, introduces the definitions, characteristics and development of the air freight forwarder.(2) The thesis proposes the importance of marketing system in air freight forwarding industry. Human resources system has to be efficiently, preventing the loss of marketing person is the most important thing in controlling marketing risk. The thesis advices to improve the process of delivery in order to prevent and control the risk form receiving dangerous goods.(3) The thesis summarizes the theory of overseas agent network. According to the actual situation in the case, the thesis proposes the procedures to choose overseas agents in order to prevent and control the risk from partners.(4) The thesis applies the theory of prevention and control financial risks to the air freight forwarding industry, and improves the procedures to control the financial risks in air freight forwarder enterprise.To sum up, facing the fierce competition in the industry, air freight forwarder enterprise has to effectively control the risks from internal, partners and customers. Only strictly controlling the risks can protect the normal operation and healthy development of air freight forwarder enterprise.
