Abstract


There was an interesting phenomena during the process of globalization:corporations did not decentralize for the spread-markets, on the contrary, thecorporations centralized.In various industrial clusters, a kind of cluster based on universities appeared.This kind of industrial clusters pullulated successfully by convenientcommunications and cooperation with universities. The purpose of my paper is tostudy the mechanism of industrial clusters around Tongji University.My research based on the Grounded Theory, cooperated with otherresearch-measures. I try to gain some new conclusion by this new mode ofresearch.I selected three different companies nearby Tongji University for my study. Icombined these data with some data supplied by Tongji University. At last Ieduced the mechanism of industrial clusters around Tongji University. I hope thismechanism is useful for other Universities and government which want to formthis kind of Industrial Clusters.
