Abstract


With the increasing significant influence on economy development from knowledge and science, intellectual property rights protection(IPRP) has been the focus around the world because effective intellectual property rights(IPR) can proctect the profits of innovaters and ecourage them to research and develop more innovation activities. So technology development can be read as the middle bridge in the analysis between economic-growth and IPRP.Technology development mainly comes from two aspects: independent innovation and imitation. Imitation can be seen as tow parts: imitative innovation and simple imitation which has no any innovation. The function of IPRP to innovation is obviously, but it is not determinate for imitation. The main technic level of developing countries is imitation and so it has critical meaning for technology development.It has different effects on imitation in different stage at one level of IPRP. Hence it will be divided into two parts to research the influence on economic-growth of developing countries by IPRP. In the short-term analysis, it gets that strong IPRP will not benefit to the economic-growth of developing countries based on a model about IPRP, imitation and innovation from foreign country according to strong IPRP will produce laborforce surplus of production and research departments. In long-term investigation, it establishes a economic-growth model about IPRP, imitation and compares the beginning time of the positive economic-growth from imitation on the different level of IPRP. Through this model, strong IPRP can prompt the positive economic-growth earlier, so it is useful to developing countries.
