Abstract


Folic acid is an important vitamin . Market demand is rising, but its production process more waste , product quality is not high , backward technology and other issues plaguing the production of folic acid . Crystallization as the final step of folic acid production refining process , is the key to ensure product quality . Therefore, folic acid crystallization process the basic data and the actual production process of great significance. Crystal habit of the product downstream processing ( such as filtering, washing and drying ) as well as a great influence on the quality of the final product , is the crystal product quality inspection is an important indicator . In this paper, the crystal habit microscope crystals by crystallization method for folic acid crystal habit of the experimental study , the choice of preparing crystalline alkali complete crystallization route leafy crystal products. Crystallization Thermodynamics is to determine the crystallization yield basis with the basic operation of the program . This determination of folic acid in pure water solubilities at different temperatures , and observe the solubility of salts . While using the static method and laser method under different pH aqueous solubility of folic acid at different temperatures and ultra- solubility , and metastable zone data curve fitting . Experiment also measured folic acid solution, such as viscosity, density , ionization equilibrium constant , the induction period and other basic physical constants for the crystallization process designed to provide the basic parameters and basis. According to an induction period of nucleation theory using the data to estimate the surface tension and surface folate entropy factor data , and thus infer folic acid crystal growth mode to continuous growth mode. Quality ( crystal form , CSD) and the yield of the target , the paper systematically examines the hydrochloric acid concentration, reaction crystallization temperature, initial concentration , filtration and other operating conditions, the impact on the crystallization process to determine optimal operating conditions.
