Abstract


Its to be tolerant to diversity of mind, the United States accepted immigrants from all over the world, cast its colorful culture. Indian immigrants is characteristic of one of the minority ethnic groups. From the 1946 The Luce - Seiler bill permitted Indian origin for naturalization naturalization, to the new immigration laws enacted in 1965, the Indian mass influx of immigrants to the United States. Until 2000, the number of Indian immigrants reached 1.9 million, second only to ethnic Chinese, Filipino Asian groups. Indians emigrated to the United States after 1965, focusing on research object, to introduce background of Indian immigrants to the United States as well as after analysis from the economic, political, and cultural aspects of their success and reason, to explore their strong feelings of India. This paper is divided into three sections, by Preface, body and conclusion. American Indian immigrants preface outlines the basic information on the cause and significance of Indian immigrants, and sort out the research status at home and abroad. Text is divided into four chapters: the first analysis of Indians moved to the U.S. course as well as the background of new immigrants in 1965 emigrated to the United States, from their own economic, social and other aspects of India and the United States economic prosperity, jobs and the evolution of immigration policy on the Indian immigrants to the United States, and emigrated to the United States three course, and further explore the historical background of the new Indian immigrants moved to the United States. The second chapter, Analysis of the success of the new Indian immigrants in the U.S. economy. India's new immigrants and give full play to their advantages, and seize the opportunities provided by the American society in a timely manner, the use of their professional and technical needs of American society, become wealthy minority ethnic groups. The third chapter focuses on the achievements of the new Indian immigrants in the political aspects. The new Indian immigrants in the economic success of the same time, begin to pay attention to the political forces of the ethnic groups. Successfully included in the Asian groups to set up a political organization to enhance the image of ethnic politics, the political front, the new Indian immigrants gradually revealing their own advantage. The fourth chapter studies the new Indian immigrants recognition of traditional Indian culture, elaborate on the reasons of the national cultural identity, three aspects of daily life from religion, the founder of the organization, to reveal national pride of India's new immigrants as well as the national culture cherishes. Conclusion In the preface and based on the summary of the course of the new Indian immigrants moved to the United States with ethnic characteristics, and pointed out that the role of religion to maintain the national identity of the new immigrants in India.
