Abstract


After World War II, the French tried to return to Indochina, to restore the pre-war colonial system. But by the Vietnamese nationalist revolt, one of the most powerful nationalist organization led by Ho Chi Minh Vietnam Independence League. Since the failure of the negotiations, the two sides in 1946, the outbreak of the First Indochina War. Initially, the war did not get the support of external forces, but the war the situation changed because of new China's assistance to Vietnam. New China policy on the recognition of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the Vietnam War resistance to law, the United States and other Western countries to respond quickly recognized the Bao Dai regime, supported by France and began to provide substantial assistance to France. This colonial war due to the impact of the Cold War in Asia, and the shadow of the Cold War, the two camps. With the outbreak of the Korean War, the tensions of the Cold War situation in Asia, Indochina seems to have become another East-West contest the battlefield, and the United States to prevent a vital bastion of Communist China to Southeast Asia expansion. It can be said, Indochina battlefield resisting law enforcement policies through the Vietnam War, the U.S. anti-communist policy through aid law indirectly contest, than direct contest Korean War, the contention here seems to be more important. Not just one city, the pros and cons of a pool, the more important is the contention of the two camps in Southeast Asia, and emerging countries face which road to learn what kind of social system. In 1953, with the adjustment of the policy of the Soviet Union and the Korean War armistice, the Cold War situation easing Indochina wars opportunities for peace talks. The United States is trying to organize joint action to prevent the Geneva meeting, and China with the support of international public opinion for peace and urged the Geneva Conference agreements, to stop the hostilities in Indochina. Major said, the research significance of this paper is to highlight the Cold War for a colonial war, the East and the West view from Indochina camp the fight in the third world. At the same time, this paper also stressed the United States in trying to restore the balance of power with the Soviet Union, made a series of containment defense policy for the new China, and the new Cold War in Asia, China has played an important role in trying to break the siege of the United States to support the people's revolution in Asia. In addition, through the Vietnam War resistance to law in China and the U.S. aid law anticommunist policies, briefly compare the internal coexistence of different forms of East-West camp. This paper is divided into six parts: the first chapter, explained the reasons for the outbreak of the war, background and early development; Chapter II, emphasizing the founding of New China, the Indochina war; Chapter highlights the United States and other external forces war, and the development of the war; Chapter stressed the opportunity to the Cold War ease the Indochina War, the peace talks; Chapter the Geneva meeting reached Indochina armistice agreement, as well as the Far East, the Cold War structure finalized; last part is the conclusion to discuss some of the issues.
