Abstract


Management information system is an information processing system which collects and disposes management in the process of the information data and provides effective reference for decision-maker. Agricultural information is an important resource for the agricultural scientific research,education,production and rural economics and the society develops.Currently,the developed systems are: agricultural business management information system,township enterprise management information system,rice cultivation computer simulation system,wheat production management computer aided system,corn production computer consulting system and cotton production management simulation system and so on.Agricultural information management process has the features aiming at the whole system of planning,organization, directing, controlling and corresponding. Therefore, agricultural information has an important impact in agricultural production.The system figures on developing a practical information management system for rice diseases and insect pests in Dali Prefecture.It has combined agricultural plant protection knowledge with computer technology. It has also turned the past and current paper files of rice diseases and insect pests into computer data. The system has stipulated the standards for information collection and established a set of network in this field. The network of information management contains information input; information dissemination; historical data inquiry; inspection and prevention knowledge of plant diseases and insect pests; learning pharmacy prescription use etc. So that the data of rice diseases and insect pests of each county of Dali Prefecture can get completely preserved and form a high-standard and efficient data-shared table.It can surly help the forecast and scientific prevention about rice disease and insect pest in our prefecture.Moreover,it can greatly save both labor and resources,improving the scientific management level.At the same time,it can provide the knowledge and meet the learning needs of rice diseases and insect pests in pattern recognition,prevention and controlling. The system is based on B/S structure,which uses the new NET Framework3.5 framework and SQL server 2005 database system as the background database.It has combined ASP.NET with SQL Server, and achieved the information management function on rice disease and insect pest. It is easy,convenient and safe to operate.The systems is well-designed, including user authentication,basic data management,information release,query,atlas of diseases and pests, control measures and drug prescription,system settings and other functions.The system has fulfilled the basic requirements in this field and the designer’s initial idea as well, with the functions of login authentication,automatic or manual searching,scientific plan forming and so on.
