Abstract

Academic procrastination has the ability to act independently of the learner in the a clear learning task conditions under conscious take various delays measures to achieve the objective delay task start or completion time, to meet some of their own needs behavior. The academic delays for academic and life is obvious. Related studies have shown that, to a certain extent, it is not only hinder the completion of the task, and will lead to anxiety, nervousness and other emotions, thereby affecting the mental health of the individual. This study used questionnaires, select Shanxi University, Shanxi Normal University, 800 graduate students study in the four universities of the Southwest University and Jiangsu University. Postgraduate groups of this study was designed to investigate academic procrastination and coping style and loneliness position to analyze the relationship between academic procrastination and coping style, loneliness, and graduate student groups, academic procrastination characteristics in order to understand and master the implementation of interventions in the education sector a theoretical basis. The main conclusions of this study are: (1) graduate population with high universality academic delays, and more than 60% of individual existence moderate delays; severe delays ratio is low; more than half of the students believe that academic procrastination serious impact on their own strong will to reduce delays. (2) graduate student groups, academic procrastination different task types: severe delays in reading the academic literature, participate in the academic discussion / Meets mentor on task delay less. Same time, there are gender differences in certain kinds of tasks on the delay of the girls higher than boys. (3) in the the academic procrastination condition grade differences in the Kenichi delay significantly lower than Kenji and Kenzo, and Kenzo has the highest level of academic procrastination scores. Professional differences, the liberal arts academic procrastination is the most serious, and significantly higher than in the sciences and engineering, and engineering has the lowest delays score. (4) Graduate loneliness higher than the undergraduate and the general population, and the emotional loneliness graduate groups higher than the social isolation; Loneliness significant difference in grade factors, the Kenji grade loneliness was significantly higher than the other two grades ; professional differences, engineering and liberal arts loneliness highest loneliness of science, with significant differences. (5) Graduate coping style overall situation is better, compared with the general population showed a more positive response; married groups coping style better than unmarried groups; the Kenzo grade response is better than the other two grades. (6) the graduate groups coping style and loneliness position has a significant correlation with active coping style and loneliness has a significant negative correlation, negative coping style and loneliness has a significantly positive correlation. (7) Graduate groups of coping way and lonely sense and academic delay a significant correlation, which actively cope ways with academic procrastination has a significant negative correlation; actively respond to academic procrastination situation has to some extent the predicted force, while negative coping and loneliness lower sense for the predictive power of the status of academic procrastination.
