Abstract


In recent years,PDM(Product Data Management)software is getting increasingly important in the industry. Competition between the enterprises is turning into the competition of the PDM. The functionality and performance of PDM software have a direct impact on the capability of enterprises.The full flow testing framework is based on the analysis of PDM software’s testing requirements.The framework validates the reliability and improves the system’s quality and performance according to the detailed full flow testing plan.Firstly, the importance of PDM is discussed and the advantage of the full flow testing framework is indicated compared with the traditional testing framework. Then the necessity of creating a full flow testing framework for PDM is analyzed. Based on the above, the testing requirements analysis of a typical PDM (PS Pro system) has been carried out with the testing plan from the stage of creating test cases,functional testing and system testing to the finalization testing. The workflow testing of the system testing stage and twice Bug Bash are especially designed in the implementation phase.Thus the whole full flow testing is completed.Finally, the advantage of the full flow testing framework for PS Pro system is summarized with the prospect implementation of automation testing in the full flow testing framework.
