Abstract


Textbooks and teachers and students together constitute the teaching of three essential factors, is the important intermediary the school teaching and the interaction between teachers and students. Textbooks censorship is maintaining the official knowledge system and the important guarantee quality of education system textbooks. Only by constantly perfecting textbook censorship, so as to improve teaching quality and promote the curriculum reform provides forceful support. Taiwan’s modern primary and secondary school textbooks censorship since world war two evolution development so far, experience after world war ii "ministry", Ed authorized parallel nine national education implementation after "ministry plait origin" and "open termination of martial law examination" three periods, the review system from a strictly to loose the development process of transformation has high value for study. This article studies the main body part of Taiwan area textbook censorship three periods through historical background, system promulgated, operation, etc, and tries to return to the original evolution course of textbook censorship. The Secondly, this research also focuses on the running situation of the open system and the existing problems about current primary and secondary school textbooks censorship in Taiwan. At last, the author hopes to rethink the relations between textbooks censorship and other supporting education system and function of textbooks by combing historical framework of primary and secondary school textbooks censorship in Taiwan.
