Abstract


In recent years, the rapid development of computer Internet, the increasingly widespread application of computer Internet technology, more and more applications, filled with vast amounts of data on the Internet, such as simple text, images, music, video. Users as well as businesses increasingly high demand for data storage, in particular the growing enterprise data management, they have to ask for a more efficient mass data storage system to meet enough of the user's request. Traditional storage architecture as well as the server architecture based C / S mode can not cope with the the Internet Shanghai amount of data storage and user access. This makes the mass storage technology to become one of the areas of most concern in recent years, computer applications. This article describes the current mainstream network storage technology DAS, NAS and SAN architecture and its major strengths and weaknesses. The paper gives a (Intelligent Network Disk, IND) for the problems that exist in the current network storage, storage system model, and build this model on top of a set of distributed software architecture - intelligent network storage system (Intelligent Network Storage System, INSS). INSS is a distributed file system, and its goal is to achieve a high availability, high-performance, scalable distributed storage system. It should be noted that distributed software architecture INSS did not highlight the concept of Disk, mainly because the INSS as the IND storage system initial target, its implementation platform environment is ordinary pc machine, and do not use special cards and storage devices. Late, we will use the IND storage system board and storage devices introduce as implementation platform environment. IND storage system as well as INSS design goal is to meet the needs of user data stored intelligent, high-performance, low-cost, high scalability, high reliability and ease of maintenance of the. The main contents of this paper is about the design of the back-end server software architecture IND storage system as well as the INSS system, made major findings include the following aspects: 1, gives an intelligent network (Intelligent Network Disk IND) structural model of the storage system, given a set of distributed software architecture is built on top of this model - intelligent network storage system (Intelligent Network Storage System, INSS). 2 intelligent network storage system (INSS) the backend server reusable software architecture to build a high-performance, scalable, and reusable software architecture. Reusable software architecture based on intelligent network storage system (INSS) backend server is given the metadata server and storage node server architecture, the storage node server architecture, according to its characteristics of reusable architecture optimized. Given realization of the key technologies of the intelligent network storage system (INSS), including metadata management, load balancing, fault tolerance, and flexible expansion, fault recovery and other aspects. Proposed a small file read and write performance optimization strategy, namely \Finally, our the INSS prototype system based on the performance tests, the experimental results show that: the the INSS prototype is a high performance, high availability, high reliability distributed system can support from a large number of users online at the same time request can quick fault recovery, the system is reliable.
