Abstract


In recent years , the country and even around the world , disasters and emergency events occur frequently , which makes the research and development of the system of emergency communications services become urgent . This thesis is based on the Guangdong Province, the Ministry of Education and research special based next-generation broadband wireless access systems development and network applications , the the research dedicated broadband emergency communications system base station side of the MAC layer software design and implementation techniques . MAC layer protocol for this system is based on the IEEE 802.16e standard MAC layer protocol to simplify and design . IEEE 802.16e is a metropolitan area network wireless access technology , mainly used for data transmission of voice, video, business , and better meet the needs of the emergency communications system . MAC layer of the emergency communications system to achieve features include : access and initialization of the network , the MAC PDU build and send business to establish and release , bandwidth request and granted , scheduling , resource allocation , retransmission processing , switching , power control. Design and Implementation of the emergency communication system base station side MAC layer of a more detailed analysis and description . First, the structure and function of the IEEE 802.16e standard MAC layer and its main characteristics and the function and structure of the framework and main module , a brief introduction , followed by the realization of the overall application architecture and the MAC layer procedures . Then , initialization and access procedures for the base station side , as well as business to establish processing and scheduling algorithm highlights . Finally, all the features of the base station side in picochip PC205 development board test were analyzed and summarized.
