Abstract


International factoring is the integrated financial service in international business between two parties from different countries or regions, in which the supplier assigns his accounts receivable to claim for payment against the debtor arising from the sales or services contract to the bank(the factor), leaving the bank to supply him trade financing, maintenance of the sales ledger, collection of accounts receivable and full protection against the bad debts.International factoring is a new method of payment after the usage of the remittance, collection, letters of credit in international trade, which has been developed into a global financial business and the main method of payment in international trade. Rapid development of the international factoring not only generates enormous profits, but also brings corresponding risks to bank. One of the most important risks in the international factoring business is fraud risk, As the appearance of 1/c, the fraud is appeared in the 1/c business. So, as the appearance of international factoring, the fraud is also appeared in the international factoring business.This paper is mainly focused on the analysis of fraud risks in international factoring faced by the commercial bank and combining the working practice, put forward the existing problems in international factoring faced by our commercial bank and proposes relevant preventive measures, such as client selection、verify the effectiveness of the real trade background、to strengthen international cooperation, prevent the fraud risks in international factoring, etc.in order to guide the practice in the future international factoring business。
