Abstract


Urban agriculture in the major cities and surrounding areas, make full use of the big cities to provide scientific and technological achievements and modern equipment for production, and close to services at the city's modern agriculture, it is closely related to an urban economy, culture, science, technology agricultural phenomenon, developed a process of urban economic development to a higher level, rural and urban, agricultural and non-agricultural industries further integration of modern agriculture. Pearl River Delta region has been the formation of a metropolitan area, agricultural development has also experienced a foreign exchange in agriculture \to create the objective conditions, but the lack of nurturing, guiding mechanisms for innovative urban agriculture, leading to the pace of development of the Pearl River Delta urban modern agriculture lag. Therefore, to evaluate and improve the innovation ability of the Pearl River Delta urban agriculture has become an important topic of theoretical and practical significance. This study analyzes the theory of urban agriculture at home and abroad and regional innovation capability researches comprehensive quantitative evaluation of the innovation capacity of urban agriculture on the basis of the analysis of regional urban agricultural innovation capacity connotation and constitute and innovation the main role to determine roughly need to incorporate factors. Second analyzed the course of development of the Pearl River Delta urban agriculture, the main approach and what has been achieved, analyze the characteristics of urban modern agriculture in the Pearl River Delta region, the development mode, power constraints, such as agricultural labor quality is not high, unreasonable industrial structure, technology support system is not sound enough, insufficient capital investment, and backward management system built urban agriculture innovation capability evaluation index system in the Pearl River Delta region. The principal component analysis to measure, evaluate and rank the innovation capacity of the regional urban agriculture, urban agricultural innovation capacity of the Pearl River Delta region and from different angles, that the problem of restricting its development, and put forward the corresponding policy recommendations. These recommendations include: foster innovative ideas, and constantly improve the quality of researchers and practitioners, and to increase education and training efforts, and increase agricultural research and innovation funding sources to nurture agriculture-related enterprises have become the new main innovation, build diversified marketing and intermediary service system, strengthen the interaction between the main innovation of urban agriculture and the government's macro-control, and promote urban agriculture innovation system construction.
