In the field of wireless communication , Mobile Ad Hoc Networks as a new network has been developed rapidly . Ad Hoc network does not require fixed network infrastructure , wireless node comes with a wireless receiver and transmitter devices consisting of a multi-hop temporary autonomous system . Easy networking and easy to realize the advantages of concern . These wireless nodes in the network can move in any form dynamic topology and no center , multi-hop routing Yet it is these characteristics make traditional TCP protocol can not be used directly on the Ad Hoc network , the traditional TCP protocol packet loss , without exception, that is network congestion caused by the Ad Hoc network packet loss is not just caused by network congestion , Ad hoc networks using traditional TCP protocol , will result in a decline in network throughput . Therefore, how to improve the performance of TCP in Ad Hoc Networks is a very important research topic . This paper first introduces the basics of the Ad Hoc network and traditional TCP protocol and its congestion control mechanism , followed by a combination of Ad Hoc network - specific attributes , starting from the network protocol layer , the network protocol layer of the TCP performance , and analysis of the improvement program for these factors . Seriously affect the final for a false link failure TCP throughput improvement program , the busy tone multiple access technology in dual channel ideas based the dual channel BTAS algorithm to reduce this impact . , BTAS algorithm based on unreliable broadcast problem of a narrow-band busy tone channel , link failure detection frame transmission reservation channel , which can effectively avoid the the detection frame the conflict , we can effectively avoid the false link failures . Effectively improving the throughput of the TCP to improve TCP performance . Selected open source NS as the Ad Hoc network simulation tools . Algorithm improvements in throughput and fairness simulation comparison with the IEEE802.11 protocol . And describes the specific process of the simulation . The simulation results show that the improved algorithm to improve TCP performance in Ad Hoc networks effectively .
