With the development of wireless technology and the Internet , wireless LAN , especially multimedia services , such as video , audio , images, etc. . The different types of business , its request, the network performance is also different . For general data services , the loss rate of the data itself is the need for strict control , delay, delay jitter tolerance . Real-time services, such as video and voice services , transmission delay and jitter requirements of the data loss rate is slightly loose . The wireless network and the wired network, the link is not stable enough, the propagation rate , all nodes are in the same communication range within the shared channel resources , the probability of conflict is relatively large , and the channel quality is difficult to guarantee . Accordingly , the data link access control is an important factor to affect network performance . IEEE802.11MAC access mechanism for QoS support is extremely limited . Improve the quality of service , support for multi-service is the ability to directly affect the further development of the key while pressing problems. IEEE802.11 and IEEE802.11e protocol content wireless LAN QoS guarantee and conducted in-depth research . IEEE802.11DCF protocol uses CSMA / CA mechanism to coordinate access to the media , does not distinguish between the type of business , it can not meet the requirements of voice, video and other services . IEEE802.11e distinguish between a business priority , but its not adaptive to changes in the type of business and the network environment . This article based on IEEE802.11DCF agreement , considering the complexity and diversity of the current network environment and the type of business , and the introduction of fuzzy logic control principle . One simplified modification of the agreement ; the Second MAC protocol adaptively adjust the parameters of the MAC layer network and business to achieve the best performance . Improved MAC layer protocol , the channel characteristics and business requirements performance comparison , comparable results as input variables of fuzzy logic controller . Based on fuzzy logic different criteria for different type of business , different MAC access output parameters to get the appropriate QoS guarantee . Minimum backoff window and the number of retransmissions is an important parameter affecting the business performance of the network , the minimum backoff window (CWmin), the number of retransmissions (Nretry) the MAC access parameters as the distinction between business .
