With video compression technology and the development of computer network technology , video surveillance technology transition from analog to today 's digitized network . However , current digital video server provides a single function , can not meet the modern needs of the security industry . A new generation of video surveillance storage system should be an integrated , comprehensive platform . This article comes from the storage of video surveillance applications on the highway project . Analyze project scenarios and its own characteristics , the paper mainly introduced from the point of view of the software design of video storage server program design and implementation . The server-side video data transmission via TCP to the client , increase the fluency of video ; through the RTP transmission mode to increase the real-time video . In addition, video storage and other storage , has its own characteristics and problems , 512 concurrent memory test system I / O throughput , brought up to a month's storage of vast amounts of data to find and scheduling problems , In order to solve these two problems , we also carried out a detailed study . The larger a feature of the system is to all servers in the network by using distributed middleware technology makes up a tree , so that the entire system is greatly increased scalability . Subscribe and publish mechanism through the use of distributed middleware , video conferencing , is also one of the highlights of the system . User management , log management , data backup and other functions , the system is a very complete video surveillance storage application platform .
