Night vision is a photoelectric conversion method, using the low light image intensifier for processing equipment. It can be implemented in low-light conditions, visual observation, to help warfighters detect and combat targets at night . Over the years, military aircraft have been using the field of view of 30 ° to 45 °, night vision , but in the implementation of its mandate , the pilot's field of view will be the traditional night vision visual field restriction , the emergence of the investigation and missing targets and other issues . To this end , this paper studies a large field of night vision devices , and designed a closer eye continuous wide-field optical systems. This paper studies the following: First , a brief introduction in the image intensifier night vision works and development, through the technical specifications of the optical system requirements analysis and practical choice as a third generation image intensifier design of the core components. Secondly, the large field of night vision of the overall program were demonstrated , using multi -lens structure combined with the principle of cooperation as to determine the night vision of the overall scheme and design parameters . Finally , according to the technical requirements for large field of view of the objective lens and the eyepiece night vision parameters were calculated , and the optical system design results were image quality evaluation . The paper used five seven double Gauss lens as the lens initial structure , the use of double-diamond prism as the primary objective and secondary objective of the occasion like structure, using a long working distance Huygens eyepiece optical system as the initial structure , the design of image quality to meet the technical requirements of a large field of view night vision optical systems. The results show that the diffraction optical system using an aspherical surface and improve the image quality can not only simplify the structure and can reduce weight of the system while reducing the system size .
