Abstract


Objective: using real-time quantitative PCR method for qualitative analysis of the fetus in the first trimester cervical mucus cells explore the feasibility cervical exfoliated trophoblast cells for prenatal diagnosis . Methods: 160 patients 6-10 weeks of abortion women cervical mucus extract fetal DNA , Y chromosome - specific DYS14 gene was amplified by real-time quantitative PCR , P-globin gene as a positive control . Fluff same pregnant women abortion using the direct method analysis of karyotype to determine whether the abnormal abortion, fetal sex chromosome . Results: 76 pregnant male fetus of pregnant women in the cervical mucus , 68 Y chromosome sequence was positive ; 84 pregnant female fetuses of pregnant women in the cervical mucus , 73 Y chromosome specific sequences negative . PCR male fetus in early pregnancy detection sensitivity 89.5% , specificity 86.9% . Conclusion : The fetal cells obtained through the cervix can be applied to non - invasive prenatal diagnosis to be further improved its accuracy and reliability .
