Abstract


Nano-titanium dioxide because of its highly efficient , non-toxic , stable , and low cost , semiconductor materials stand out and become the most widely used photocatalyst , has been widely used in waste water and waste gas processing , photocatalytic hydrogen, photovoltaic cells , antibacterial bring enormous environmental , social and economic benefits . Same time, however, the research on the titanium dioxide is far insufficient , there is still much room for improvement in terms of the preparation process and the improvement of the photocatalytic efficiency . In addition, with regard to brookite titanium dioxide study also rarely reported. Therefore, this paper solve these problems , a number of exploration . Cheap titanium tetrachloride as raw materials , different polymorphs of nano titanium dioxide powder was synthesized by hydrothermal method and precipitation method and its modification by XRD, TEM, BET and other means of testing samples structure , particle size and morphology were characterized , and then declined to UV as a reference solution of methyl orange photocatalytic activity of the investigated samples . Hydrothermal Synthesis of titanium dioxide of rutile and brookite / rutile mixed crystalline titanium dioxide , along with changes in the hydrothermal conditions , structure and performance changes , which the 160 ℃ hydrothermal 18h obtained sample plate titanium mine (Brookite) rutile (Rutile) ratio of approximately B / R = 22/78, the grain size is about 21.3nm best photocatalytic activity , 300W UV irradiation 30min , methyl orange degradation rate could reach 76.5% . Propylene oxide ( of C 3 < / sub > H 6 < / sub> O ) modifier precipitation synthesis of titanium dioxide anatase / rutile mixed crystal titanium dioxide , of which 400 ℃ < sup> 6 < / sup > 00 ° C calcined sample dispersion is more uniform , complete crystallization , high purity and crystalline phases . Silver nitrate added on the basis of different quality ( the AgNO 3 < / sub >) synthesized silver chloride / titanium dioxide (AgCl / TiO 2 ) compound semiconductor investigated composite chloride silver photocatalytic activity before and after change , found silver nitrate add the amount mAgNO the the 3 / mTiO 2 = 0.25% , the highest degradation efficiency .
