Abstract


Rock music originated in the United States, is popular music is an important branch, in the 1980 s began to influence Chinese pop music, and formed the rock with Chinese characteristics. Heavy metal rock is the most representative style, no matter from music form, the social function of music, music goods attribute, music psychology, sociology, etc have great research value. This article through to the typical significance of mainland China one of the heavy metal rock band, "tang dynasty" band's representative works for composing technique level and lyrics, and other cultural aspects of the analysis and research to explore China heavy metal style and techniques, and heavy metal cultural interpretation. This paper is divided into three parts, the first chapter is about the mainland China heavy metal development course, the second chapter is the typical heavy metal band - - - - - "the tang dynasty" band in-depth case studies. The third chapter is about the mainland China heavy metal cultural interpretation.
