Abstract


A workflow is automatically run business processes , business process is a computer implementation. The concept of workflow from production organization and office automation , workflow purpose is broken down into well-defined tasks, roles , in accordance with established rules and procedures to perform . Workflow Management System is a workflow process to achieve the software environment. Using workflow technology that can achieve standardize business processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs. Therefore, workflow technology for in-depth study has important practical significance. This paper analyzes the current development of workflow technology , and discusses the workflow-related concepts and techniques . In contrast embedded workflow engine and standalone workflow engine based on the combination of many companies in today's society is very complex business systems , information systems easily integrate numerous features , proposed a standalone workflow system design. The workflow system independent of the business system that can simultaneously provide a number of different business systems workflow service . Engine controller is the core part of the workflow engine . In this paper, standalone workflow engine design architecture of a workflow engine controller. The workflow engine controller conducted in-depth research, the engine controller design, related to the engine controller technologies were discussed in detail . On this basis, carried out on the engine controller function modules , gives the relevant database design, and various important to the engine controller module for a detailed design and implementation. Eventually, the engine controller of this test, the test indicates that the engine controller to meet the design requirements to meet the needs of the research .
