Abstract


MMS service is applied to 3G originally, but it can be accomplished by both 2.5G and 3G networks, such as CSD, GPRS, UMTS, CDMA etc.Now all the mobile operators put their hopes on MMS. On one hand, the mobile operators hope that MMS may become the new increasing point in mobile message area as an upgrade product of SMS. On the other hand, they hope that MMS service can make subscribers become accustomed to the kinds of services in order to raise 3G market.So the operators attach more and more attention on MMS business.But the tests of MMS service are still done by hands and that costs too much time and manpower. So the operators need the auto test methods for MMS.The thesis discusses and researches the principles for the accomplishment of the system and finally finishes the system according to the methods mentioned in the paper.The following jobs are in my charge:1) Research on coding and decoding of MMS packet and the format of SMIL.2) Research on the MMS transceiving flow and protocols of WAP.3) Research on the new methods for the MMS transceiving with the mobile phone and PC.4) Get and analyze WAP-PUSH message,distinguish it from the SMS and draw the URL used to download MMS.5) Analyze the steps for MMS auto test.Design the whole test system and finish it on windows platfrom coding with VC.It is needed to explanation, according to the implement theory of the texting system, any 3G phone or GPRS/UMTS/CDMA network card combines PC to obtain MMS automatism receiving/sending platform without special texting terminal totally.
