Abstract


Digital TV receiver system, how to solve a variety of heterogeneous platforms and operating systems supported by the upper layer applications, is to further promote the popularity of television broadcasting digitization and the key to promote the prosperity and development of the digital TV broadcasting industry. And digital TV middleware software system technology as a component-based design, in line with the digital television system for real-time requirements, as well as the efficiency and resource limitations. It enables multimedia applications to run on different hardware platforms, application \multimedia services. The world's major manufacturers have invested a lot of energy to study the superior performance of the digital TV middleware. This paper briefly describes the principle of digital television broadcasting system, key technologies and standards system, provides an overview of the digital TV middleware, highlights Changhong digital TV middleware system structure, as well as digital TV middleware key component of the analysis and design . Key functional modules in the the thesis completion of the process, the digital TV middleware, using hierarchical model and draw on the idea of ??software components for digital TV middleware design, process-oriented C language, the completion of the digital TV middleware player routing, data engines, business search, conditional access and electronic program guides, component coding. In the paper, a variety of key common components of Changhong digital TV middleware analysis design and coding implementation, performance analysis and test validation, system and middleware software framework program design argument. Key data engine, the business search condition to receive and study and design of the components of the electronic program guide. After more than a year of design and debug and test, and run on a variety of programs for digital TV receiver and a variety of unit testing and system testing, Changhong Digital TV middleware has been extended to the five market products, and through expert identification, and achieved good results, the project developed to achieve the effect of the development of the requirements and expectations.
