The Population Migration is a phenomenon of developed and developing countries are in the process of industrialization and urbanization , migrant workers is formed in the the Chinese restructuring and urbanization process in an emerging labor groups . According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics , in 2009 , the total number of rural migrant workers to 230 million , the number of migrant workers out of 150 million people , of which 16 to 30 years old accounted for 61.6% of the new generation of migrant workers , the new generation of migrant workers groups in increasingly prominent role in the economic development in urban and rural areas . The article is mainly fertility desire to study the generation of migrant workers in the school-age stage through a processing plant in Shanghai, a random survey of more than 1,000 workers and case interview , in-depth analysis and discussion of the sample consisting of 100 people , the thoughts and opinions of the outflow of migrant workers in urban and rural groups in fertility problems from the point of view of the traditional and modern , and understand their migrant age , working outside time , contact with groups such as the contents of a profound analysis of the impact of migrant workers fertility wishes factors . S factory new generation of all from rural areas , came to the city before contact is the concept of rural culture , the transition from rural to urban geographical and contact with the crowd to bring major changes , these changes not only the new generation of fertility willingness to influence and change the article explores and understanding .
