Abstract


With the rapid development of the academic profession , professional development and career psychological quality of our academic people culture increasingly widespread attention and study . In this context , the academic profession research perspective, investigated the demographic characteristics of our university teachers professional values ??define the basic components of the University Teachers' Professional Values ??and connotation of China 's key universities teacher questionnaires and depth interviews and to explore the relationship between the University Teachers' Professional values ??their job involvement . The results are as follows : 1 . Academic career Perspective of University Teachers Professional Values ??is a multi-dimensional system , welfare and health care , improve with the development of knowledge and exploration, educating people with high moral character and influence and service of five factors . Self of University Teachers ' Professional Values ??Scale has good reliability and validity indicators , suitable as a university teacher professional values ??of the measurement tool . University teachers the importance of professional values ??of the five dimensions : educating people with high moral character , knowledge and exploration , welfare and health , affecting services , improve and Development . 4 University Teachers ' Professional Values ??influenced by gender , age , education, type of school, discipline , duty , expertise , titles and seniority and other individual characteristics variables . Certain correlation exists between the University Teachers ' Professional Values ??and job involvement ; University Teachers ' Professional Values ??can predict job involvement to some extent , but the prediction by the variable adjustment of some of the individual characteristics of the university teachers .
