Abstract


The refrigerator industry is becoming more focused on the development and gradually matured; simply by lowing costs to control the cost was not suited to the current state of the development. The value chain analysis can examine the cost from a strategic perspective to help companies to eliminate their non-value-added jobs, through analyzing the value chain of its competitors not only can understand the costs of competitors, market share and also can evaluate its management and competition situation compared to the cost of competitors, which draw the competition’s strengths and weaknesses, then develop a competitive strategy to achieve competitive advantage.This thesis is studying the development of the refrigerator industry through the value chain analysis of the refrigerator. First, there is a brief description of the basic theory of value chain analysis and the necessity and feasibility of the value chain analysis of the application in the refrigerator industry; Second, based on the understanding of the development of the refrigerators industry, by using value chain analysis the thesis is to obtain the value of the enterprise value chain activities of all the cost and value of the contribution rate of the company as its representative to A production company, then comparing the results with its competitors’ and found the company’s superior and weak link; Finally, there are some suggestions for improvement business by the comparison of the put forward. So I believe that by using the value chain analysis, the enterprise can control the cost management more effectively and explore a larger space for the cost control of the enterprise from the perspective of the strategy and the effectiveness. In conclusion, using the value chain analysis can help the enterprises in the fierce market competition to find their own strengths and weaknesses, to assist enterprises to adopt scientific methods to build on the positive and make up for deficiencies, so as to enhance and maintain the competitiveness of the enterprises.
