Abstract


A long time, military communications stations are designed for certain purposes , these military communications radio function , performance testing project variety and complexity of the testing process is both labor intensive and time consuming . Therefore , we designed a test for a certain type of military radio machine automatic test system . In this paper, the of research communications radio receiver and transmitter works as well as the testing principle of the whole test indicators , analyzes and summarizes the functional requirements of this radio ATS , designed by the PC , integrated tester HP8920A measured radio standard radio stations, as well as homemade test control system consisting of radio automatic test system . PC, connected via a standard GPIB cable tester with a GPIB interface , and at the same time via the RS232 interface and homemade control test systems and radio equipment communication . Test control system hardware design , give full consideration to the operating voltage of the system , the timing and design costs , design 89C51 microcontroller as master , 16C1550 extended serial , MAX3237 level conversion 74HC595 serial to parallel and eight digital switch homemade radio control system to achieve a variety of connection line switch . PC, the software uses graphical programming software Agilent VEE to write and design for a radio system test indicators based radio Agilent VEE platform automated testing software . Modular thinking , the test software in accordance with the test project is divided into many modules , the operation of the control test analytical instruments , control the homemade test control system for line conversion , and control the standard radio and the the measured radio work mode settings and operating parameters features such as automatic test in order to achieve a military radio system test indicators . Domestic first set of automatic test system for the whole test indicators of a certain type of military radio radio automatic test system is designed in this paper , has a friendly user interface , the system is running stable , accurate and reliable , open and flexible , can results are displayed in the form of Excel spreadsheets and save at the same time reduce the workload of testers , to improve production efficiency , cost savings , and has been put to the radio test , and has a good effect .
