The cabbage beetle, Colaphellus bowringi Baly(Coleoptera,Chrysomelidae), is a serious pest of cruciferous vegetables. The beetle widely distributed and seriously damaged crucifers recent years in China, therefore, it is one of the more economically important pest. In this paper, the variation of diapause and fecundity in hybrid offsprings among harbin、taian and longnan geographic populations in Colaphellus bowringi Baly.Temperature, photoperiod on the hybrid offsprings F1 of Colaphellus bowringi among different geographic populations of diapause induction have a significant effect, different combinations of temperature and Photoperiod on its diapause induction is also significantly affected. On Hybrid F1 under different temperature is significantly different, with the induced temperature rise, the rate of diapause on Hybrid F1 was significantly decreased diapause, high temperature can reduce the Photoperiod on the induction of diapause.The rate of diapause on hybrid offsprings F1 between harbin and taian on L10: D14 photoperiod was lowest, in the light longer than 16h, the diapause is higher. Hybrid F1 generation photoperiodic response types is similar to the parents of Taian, but is very different with the parent of Harbin.The hybrid offsprings F1 between taian and longnan generation in the short Photoperiod period, have a lower rate of diapause induction, and in the long Photoperiod period have a higher rate of diapause induction. Hybrid F1 generation photoperiodic response types is more similar to their parent populations of longnan.Hybrid offsprings F1 between Harbin and longnan generation in the light length range of 6 ~ 10h, with a lower rate of diapause induction, in the light longer than 16h,with the higher rate of diapause. Hybrid F1 generation photoperiodic response types is similar to the parents of longnan, while is very different with the parent of Harbin.At L8: D16, L10: D14, L12: D12, L14: D10, L16: D8 photoperiod of five conditions, rate of diapause on offspring was significantly increased with temperature decline, low temperature can induce the rate of diapause, high temperature can inhibit the rate of diapause, temperature and the rate of diapause on hybrids offspring is significant negative correlation.Temperature and photoperiod on the hybrids offspring have obvious diapause induction. With the temperature rise ,the rate of diapause decrease. geographical populations of Taian and Harbin and populations of the hybrid F2 generation of L10: D14 photoperiod of diapause was lowest , while the light length range of 16 ~ 20h the rate of diapause is higher; Hybrid offsprings F2 between taian and longnan populations, hybrid offsprings F2 between Harbin and Longnan populations, are in short day photoperiod during diapause induction have a lower rate ,a long-day photoperiod have a higher rate.Types of photoperiodic response in hybrid offsprings F2 is similar to the parental types, in addition to the hybrid offsprings between Taian and Longnan, each rate of diapause in Hybrid offsprings F2 is lower than the Hybrid offsprings F1.Fecundity of the hybrids offsprings and their maternal fecundity was not significant, except Harbin♀×Tai♂offspring and paternal fecundity was not significant, other differences between offspring and male parent were significant, visible, Fecundity of the hybrids offsprings is mainly affected by maternal genes.
