On a positive psychology perspective, this study discussed the adults’mental health in China. Firstly, with 832 adults surveyed, this study examined the suitability of the Mental Healthy Style Questionnaire (MHSQ) developed by Tone Huge etc (2010) among adults and inquired the traits of adults’mental health style in China. Then,765 adults were surveyed with the use of Mental Healthy Style Questionnaire, Life Satisfaction Questionnaire, Index of Well-Being, in order to inspect the correlation between mental healthy style and subjective well-being and life satisfaction. Finally, through cases analysis, factors affecting adults’mental healthy style were discussed. This study found:(1) The Mental Healthy Style Questionnaire proved to have excellent reliability and validity, and seven dimensions constitute the adults’mental healthy style:industrious, happy, regular, peaceful, wise, persistent, and harmonious;(2) Adults Mental Healthy Style did not show much difference regarding ethnicity, religion and hometown while remarkable disparity is found regarding gender, age, political status, education, family income and marital status;(3) The correlation between mental healthy style and life satisfaction and subjective well-being are significantly positive. Life satisfaction and subjective well-being can predict mental healthy style;(4) Such factors as family background, education, life environment, work stability have some influence on individual’s mental healthy style.
