Abstract

After a large number of distributed generations (DGs) access to the distribution system, the forms of power source tend to be various, and the modes of power supply tend to be complex, which influence the development of power system and put forward higher requirement to the operation and control of power system. However, the traditional reliability evaluation model of distribution system has difficulty in dealing with those great changes. The research on reliability evaluation of distribution system considering DGs has important and practical significance. This thesis introduced a GO methodology based on success into the reliability model of distributed generations. Taken a grid-connected photovoltaic system as an example, a GO physical model chart was proposed to describe the typical connections of the system, and the GO mathematical model of the photovoltaic array was analyzed particularly. Furthermore, this thesis built a reliability model of photovoltaic system which took the relevance of the meteorological factors to system availability states into consideration, and this model agreed more with the actual system operation. This thesis analyzed the island division and operation principles, and built the feeder partition model of distribution system considering DGs. A reliability evaluation model of distribution system considering DGs was studied, which quantified the reliability effects of zone nodes with the equipment failures in other feeder partitions, detailedly considering the new island operation when equipment failures happened in the island. The proposed model was testified in IEEE RBTS BUS6 system. The efficiency and practicability of the model is demonstrated through the simulation, and the results showed that GO methodology was not sensitive to the complexity of the system and had high calculating efficiency of complex distribution system considering DGs. Furthermore, the actual status of distribution system reliability can be truly reflected by considering the state of equipment maintenance.
