Abstract


There are many researches on Career Decision about college students, but there are few about post graduates. In recent years, along with the enrollment of the postgraduates, the number of post graduate is increasing; the employment problem has become a concern of the universities and enterprises. Especially after the economic crisis of 2008, many college students pursuit higher education in order to avoid obtain employment. And now it’s the time for them to graduate, employment issues have became increasingly prominent. Compared with undergraduates, there are significant different in the content and method of study, postgraduates are also more autonomy and more rational than undergraduates, there are more factors that affect career decision. Compared with doctors, they are more selectivity. To post graduates, career decision is very important for their career development. To the company, analysis the factors of career decision are crucial for them to improve competitive advantages.This paper uses a questionnaire survey conducted field studies, literature analysis, research and comparative study of the method of combining the Internet and use convenient, fast way of contact through visits interviews postgraduates, the post graduate student employment and the factors that affect the career decision. In the subject of a considerable amount of research literature on the basis of comparative analysis of response from postgraduate of Shanghai in Business School or Economic School research employment outcome of the first-hand information, in light of China’s Shanghai and the current employment status postgraduates, and construct the structure equation model (SEM).This paper verify the gender difference in career decision, proposed and verified the environment difference in career decision and then in-depth analysis of my master’s degree graduates, employing units, Postgraduate training units, as well as national employment policies of the relevant factors such as the impact on employment, finally put forth some constructive measures and proposals.
