Abstract


Informal finance has been the common phenomenon in the world,and is especially common in developing countries. The existing researches indicate that informal finance is an important factor for economic growth. Nowadays, the scale and influence of informal finance are expanding .Informal finance is playing a very important role in China’s economic development. The influence of informal finance is not only negative but also positive. On the one hand, informal finance makes up for the lack of normal finance and promotes its development. On the other hand, informal finance impairs macro-control to some extent and has big risk. Therefore, the legitimization of informal finance is necessary.There are five parts in this thesis. First, it discusses research background and meaning, the definition of informal finance, and the theories about informal finance. Second, it is instruction about legitimization of informal finance of Tai Wan area of our country and other countries in the world. Third, it discusses the historical and current situation of China’s informal finance. Forth, it discusses the impacts to our country’ economy and society. Fifth, it raises the strategies and methods of China’s legitimization of informal finance .In one word, because of the being objectivity of informal finance in China, the best choice is giving it the certified position, bringing it in finance regulation system. Then, informal finance could exert its advantages and speed China’s economic development.
