Abstract


The paper firstly counts the fault types of the ball mill and analyzes the failure modes and the failure judgment methods of the various parts of the ball mill, and it obtains our main concern object of ball mill fault diagnosis; The paper secondly makes 3D model of the big and small gears in ball mill transmission system and imports 3D model into ANSYS,and it makes modal analysis and get natural frequency of the big and small gears and different vibrational mode in the different order of the big and small gears in order to provide a theoretical basis for the next fault judgment. The paper finally measures vibration signal of the big and small gears on three ball mill in Qi da shan Iron Ore Mine grinding workshop and analyzes the signals in time domain and frequency domain, at the same time contrasts the fault types we have judged in the number five ball mill and gets appropriate treatment fault methods.Finally, the paper introduces the following work and gives proper theoretical methods of ball mill transmission system fault prediction.
