Abstract
|
Wireless energy transfer via strongly coupled magnetic resonances is an innovational technology method for electrical power transferring. This technology uses the strong coupling of the non-radiative mid-range magnetic field to transfer the energy which is effective and safe. Compare with the traditional inductive wireless energy transfer method, this method has many advantages such as the capability of transferring the power more efficiently, the capability of transferring the power at a farther distance and a stronger capability of penetration. Therefore, the research on the strongly coupled magnetic resonances method has important research value and practical value. Thus, it attracts a wide attention from both the academic circles and the industrial circles. In this thesis, through theoretical arithmetic and circuit simulation, the mechanisms of the strongly coupled magnetic resonances wireless energy transfer method is discussed and the characteristics of the energy transfer is analyzed. The factors affecting the energy transfer is pointed out as well as the solutions to decrease negative effects. On the basis of analyses, a design of the wireless energy transfer system based on strongly coupled magnetic resonances is proposed. The system has an output over 10 watts at a distance of 5 centimeters which is sufficient for most of the consumer electronics products. This builds up the foundation for designing a higher power wireless energy transfer system.Using RFID technology, the realization of load approaching recognition is also discussed in the thesis. Furthermore, regarding the importance of the frequency to the energy transfer process, a novel frequency adjustment method is proposed to enhance the energy transferring. At last, the effectiveness of the design is proved by the experiments. The experimental data and actual voltage waveforms is also analyzed.
