Abstract


In recent years, with the increasing of projects, the number of immigrants increased exponentially, immigrant resettlement issues also increasingly drew concern.Resettlement is a complex and huge project, involving the vital interests of immigrants, immigrants must participate in the process of making decision by way of variety, the government and the company have to provide channels to participate in the project for immigrants ; considering the views of immigrants and protecting the interests of immigrants.In this thesis, the author select the involuntary resettlement of Taichi Lake Ecological and Cultural Tourism Zone as a focal point, integrated with all kinds of data about resettlement,showing how the involuntary resettlement to fight for and protect their own interests through public participation.The thesis describes the information disclosure is a prerequisite for participation of immigrants, information playing an important role for obtaining the benefit.In the stage of the house’s dismantlingand resettlement, immigration negotiations with the government, in consultation with the village in such a rational way, to secure a reduction of migrants, increase rent subsidies and other vital interests.In the land compensation stage, the thesis analysis the elites play an important role on protecting the whole villages of interests and the villagers fighting for their individual interests;the elites and villagersthe can maintain the livelihoods、social security and other interests of immigrants.The thesis describe the actual situation of public participation in the resettlementactivities, demonstrating the involvement of non-institutionalized way of villagers to protect the benefits of immigration. Finally, the author propose various proposals that to improve the efficiency and standardize of public participation.
