Abstract


With the establishment of a sound development of psychological disciplines , people are more and more in-depth understanding of children ; modern improvement of living standards , as well as more attention to the education of children , but also makes increasing demands on children 's furniture . Children need appropriate to their physiological and psychological development of the characteristics of the furniture . Physiological and psychological development needs children as a starting point , the application of modular design combined with modern furniture , children furniture design issue . The study of children 's furniture design has important theoretical and practical significance . This article from the perspective of developmental psychology , look between the characteristics of the physical and mental development of middle childhood children bedroom furniture design really suitable for children 's physical and mental development of children , in order to provide more effective way . This research project commenced from the following stages : First, in the analysis of the subject 's background and the basis of the status quo on the importance of furniture designed for children 's mental and physical needs , combing the ideas and framework of the research , read the literature , as the next good theoretical preparation . Secondly , on the basis of theoretical research , from the children's mental and physical needs , analyze the bedroom features and furniture requirements . Exploration modular design , development and children's furniture design feasibility , combined with the status quo of the current design , analysis and design exists a lack of deep-seated reasons . Then , on the basis of the principles in the product design , expand middle childhood bedroom furniture design principles discussed mainly from four aspects : practicality principle , the principle of security , ecological harmony - friendly principles and the principle of continuity . And on this basis , import modular design method to explore the use of modular design in middle childhood furniture design to meet the design requirements . Finally, the design practice , and summarize .
