Abstract

Natural dyes derived from natural, environmental and ecological compatibility, biodegradable, harmless to human health, in line with the modern people of their own health as well as environmental protection emphasis on the requirements. However, the most natural dyes for dyeing of cotton fiber poor low on dye and color fastness. The above problems, the cationic modified technique of the present research and development of cotton fiber, and applied to the cotton fibers, natural dyes, effectively improving the dyeing properties of the natural dye on the cotton fiber. The the reactive modifiers H and non-reactive modifiers BE-2 cotton fiber paper were applied to the cationic modified, preferred the modification process and natural dyes on the modified cotton fabric dyeing process. By visible spectroscopy study of the stability of a variety of natural dyes; analyzed by thermal gravimetric analysis and Zeta potential of modified cotton fabric before and after thermal performance and the potential changes of the surface of the fabric; whiteness, bursting strength, moisture and The moisture regain such as testing physical and mechanical properties of the modified cotton fabric before and after; through the production dyeing rate curves and the adsorption isotherms, in-depth study of the kinetic and thermodynamic properties of modified cotton fabric dyeing natural dyes. Cationic modified as a cotton fiber-reactive modifying agent to the modifying agent H, the optimized modified formula: modifiers H concentration of 4% (owf), Peregal O concentration of 0.6-1% (owf), hydrogen sodium oxide 0.5-1g / L, a bath ratio of 1:30; optimized modified process as follows: The room temperature was raised to 70 ° C, incubated for 30 minutes, add sodium hydroxide, the reaction for 20 minutes, remove the water washing. Cationic modified as a cotton fiber non-reactive modifying agent to BE-2, optimized modification process: the modifier BE-2 4% (owf), warmed to 70 ° C and room temperature, incubated for 10-15 min bath ratio 1:30. Cotton fiber after these two modified way modified, Zeta potential tended to become positive, a slight decrease of thermal stability, physical and mechanical properties did not change significantly. Natural dyed cotton fabric with high color yield, good color fastness and levelness, and excellent UV protective properties. Natural dyes on cotton fibers in order to improve the control of the dyeing process and guiding role in the dyeing process optimization theory, this paper studied the dynamics of natural dyes on the modified cotton fiber dyeing and dyeing thermodynamics. The use of quasi-first-order kinetics model and quasi-second-order kinetic model to simulate the experimental data of the modified cotton fibers on the three natural dyes, dyeing kinetics parameters of the calculation of natural dyes on the modified cotton fibers; use of the Langmuir, Freundlich and the Nernst 3 kinds of theoretical models of modified cotton fibers on the three natural dyes thermodynamic experimental data were fitted to calculate the thermodynamic parameters of natural dyes in the modified cotton fibers. The results showed that: three natural dyes in the dyeing kinetics of cationic modified cotton fiber to meet the quasi-second-order kinetic model, that support the adsorption process, including the assumption that multi-molecular layer adsorption chemisorption. The three natural dye adsorption of cationic modified cotton fibers in line with the Freundlich model Langlnuir adsorption model, but also to a certain extent. Three natural dye adsorption on the modified cotton fibers, in addition to positioning adsorption, but also the existence of non positioning adsorption.
